Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the PitStop platform. By using PitStop, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

1.General Conduct

1.1 Lawful Use

You agree to use PitStop only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

1.2 Honest Dealing

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Deal honestly with other users
  • Honor commitments made through the Platform
  • Not misrepresent yourself, your business, or your products

1.3 Respectful Interaction

You agree to treat all users (Customers, Vendors, Drivers) with respect and courtesy. We do not tolerate:

  • Harassment or bullying
  • Threats or intimidation
  • Discriminatory behavior
  • Abusive language

2.Prohibited Activities - All Users

You may NOT use PitStop to:

2.1 Illegal Activities

  • Violate any law, regulation, or ordinance
  • Facilitate illegal transactions
  • Launder money or engage in fraud
  • Evade taxes or reporting requirements
  • Traffic in stolen goods

2.2 Harmful Conduct

  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Stalk or intimidate anyone
  • Discriminate based on protected characteristics
  • Engage in hate speech or promote violence
  • Share others' personal information without consent

2.3 Fraudulent Activities

  • Use stolen payment methods
  • Create fake accounts
  • Manipulate ratings or reviews
  • Engage in price manipulation
  • Make false claims or representations
  • Impersonate another person or entity

2.4 Platform Abuse

  • Circumvent security measures
  • Access unauthorized areas of the Platform
  • Interfere with Platform operations
  • Scrape data or harvest information
  • Introduce malware or harmful code
  • Attempt to reverse engineer our systems
  • Use bots or automated tools (without authorization)

2.5 Intellectual Property Violations

  • Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or patents
  • Use PitStop branding without permission
  • Copy or redistribute Platform content
  • Post content you don't have rights to

2.6 Spam and Abuse

  • Send unsolicited communications
  • Post repetitive or irrelevant content
  • Abuse messaging features
  • Manipulate search results or algorithms

3.Prohibited Activities - Customers

Customers may NOT:

3.1 Order Fraud

  • Place orders with intent not to pay
  • Use payment methods without authorization
  • Dispute legitimate charges fraudulently
  • Falsely claim non-delivery or damage

3.2 Return Abuse

  • Return used or installed parts as new
  • Return parts not purchased through PitStop
  • Abuse return policies for personal gain
  • Make false warranty claims

3.3 Harassment of Vendors/drivers

  • Make unreasonable demands
  • Threaten negative reviews for discounts
  • Abuse rating systems
  • Contact Vendors/Drivers inappropriately

4.Prohibited Activities - Vendors

Vendors may NOT:

4.1 Product Misrepresentation

  • List counterfeit or replica parts as genuine
  • Misrepresent part condition (new vs. used)
  • Provide inaccurate fitment information
  • Use misleading photos or descriptions
  • Falsely advertise brand affiliations

4.2 Pricing Manipulation

  • Price gouging
  • Colluding with other Vendors on pricing
  • Bait-and-switch tactics
  • Hidden fees not disclosed

4.3 Circumventing PitStop

  • Directing customers to transact outside Platform
  • Soliciting customers for off-platform business
  • Collecting customer data for outside use
  • Avoiding PitStop commission

4.4 Quality Violations

  • Selling unsafe or recalled parts
  • Selling parts that don't meet specifications
  • Failing to fulfill orders as promised
  • Excessive cancellations

5.Prohibited Activities - Drivers

Drivers may NOT:

5.1 Safety Violations

  • Drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol
  • Drive recklessly or dangerously
  • Use phone while driving (except navigation)
  • Violate traffic laws
  • Drive with suspended/invalid license

5.2 Service Violations

  • Tamper with or open packages
  • Steal merchandise or portions thereof
  • Misrepresent delivery status
  • Fail to make genuine delivery attempts
  • Accept cash payments (unless authorized)

5.3 Conduct Violations

  • Harass Customers or Vendors
  • Enter homes without explicit invitation
  • Photograph customers without consent
  • Solicit tips or additional payments
  • Discriminate against customers

5.4 Platform Violations

  • Use unauthorized vehicles
  • Allow unauthorized persons to make deliveries
  • Manipulate location data
  • Abuse cancellation features
  • Multi-app in ways that harm service

6.Prohibited Content

You may NOT post, upload, or share:

  • Illegal content
  • Sexually explicit material
  • Violence or graphic content
  • Hate speech or discrimination
  • Personal information of others
  • Spam or commercial solicitations
  • Malware or malicious links
  • Copyrighted material without rights
  • False or misleading information

7.Prohibited Products

The following may NOT be listed on PitStop:

  • Stolen parts or merchandise
  • Counterfeit or replica parts
  • Recalled parts (not clearly disclosed)
  • Parts that violate emissions regulations
  • Illegal modifications or parts
  • Hazardous materials (without proper authorization)
  • Weapons or weapon components
  • Parts with removed/altered VIN or serial numbers

8.Enforcement

8.1 Monitoring

We may monitor Platform activity to detect violations. This includes:

  • Automated systems
  • User reports
  • Manual review
  • Third-party tools

8.2 Reporting Violations

Report violations through:

  • In-app reporting tools
  • Email: abuse@orderpitstop.com
  • Providing evidence when possible

8.3 Investigation

We will investigate reported violations and may:

  • Request additional information
  • Interview involved parties
  • Review transaction and communication history
  • Make determinations at our discretion

8.4 Consequences

Violations may result in:

WARNING: First-time minor violations

  • Written warning
  • Policy reminder

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION: Repeated or moderate violations

  • Account suspended for 7-30 days
  • Features restricted

PERMANENT BAN: Serious or repeated violations

  • Account permanently terminated
  • May be reported to authorities
  • May be liable for damages

8.5 Appeals

You may appeal enforcement actions by:

  • Contacting appeals@orderpitstop.com
  • Providing explanation and evidence
  • Appeals reviewed within 10 business days

9.Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • All activity under your account
  • Maintaining account security
  • Actions of anyone you authorize
  • Understanding and following this policy
  • Reporting violations you observe

10.Updates to This Policy

We may update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
